This past weekend, I used my portable darkroom for the first time. The box was constructed for me by local carpenter, Roger Atkins and the dark cloth was sewn for me by Dana Boucher. Above is the first image I made with the box and although I don't think its a stellar image, its a start. I am excited to finally be able to take wet plate on the road with me.

"Of Memory, Bone & Myth" at the Rourke Museum in Moorhead, Minnesota will feature two of my tintypes. The show opens on March 22, 2013 and will run through June 2, 2013. The show was juried by Olivia Parker and is in conjunction with the University of North Dakota.

"By Any Means: Alternative Photographic Processes" at the Florence Quarter Gallery at the Southwest University of Art & Design will feature four of my tintypes. The show opens March 22, 2013 and will run through April 12, 2013.

truth or consequences
I stumbled across an old roll of film and processed it to find a few images from last year in T or C. This one is my favorite.
