Student Artwork - Photo 2

Student work from my 10th Grade Photo 2 class. We explored the basics of digital photography - depth of field, motion and using our SLRs in manual mode. Assignments included photo composition and portrait photography. We used Lightroom to edit and organize and Photoshop for a bit of manipulation.

Inside a Camera Obscura

Student work from one of my first high school photography classes - 9th Grade Photo 1. We visited a Camera Obscura, made our own pinhole cameras, visited a darkroom to take pinhole photos, used Polaroid Land Cameras to take instant photos, made emulsion lifts with instant photos, made cyanotypes from digital negatives and photograms, hand colored and toned our cyanotypes and made lumen prints. All in just four weeks!
